Nicole Brooks, Kappa Kappa Psi National Chapter Support Coordinator, is a 2014 graduate of the University of Central Florida where she earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Art History. While at UCF, she was a member of the Marching Knights and Jammin’ Knights ensembles as a sousaphone player. Nicole was initiated into the Eta Sigma chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi in November of 2011 and is also an honorary member of Tau Beta Sigma. In 2017, she earned an M.A. in Religious Studies from the American University of Rome. Nicole joined the Headquarters Staff in June of 2018 as a Chapter Field Representative. Throughout her three-year term as CFR, she conducted over one-hundred chapter visits and assisted chapters in all aspects of their operations. Nicole began her new role as Chapter Support Coordinator in August of 2021.As CSC, she will continue to work with chapters to improve their chapter operations, assist the Chapter Field Representatives, and serve as a member of the Chapter Operations Task Force.

Adam Cantley was initiated into the Omicron Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi on March 20, 1999 at West Virginia University. He was a member of both the marching and concert band. He served in various chapter offices and served three terms on the Northeast District Council of Kappa Kappa Psi, his last being president. Adam was also awarded the J. Lee Burke Student Achievement Award in 2002. In the fall of 2003 he was asked to be an honorary member of the Gamma Omega chapter of Tau Beta Sigma at the University of Pittsburgh. Adam completed his education at WVU with a B.A. in Integrated Sciences/Biology and a M.A. in Secondary Education in May 2003. Adam served Kappa Kappa Psi as its sixth National Chapter Field Representative from 2003-2005. Adam served as National Vice President for Student Affairs, National Vice President for Programs, National Vice President of Colonization and Membership and National President from 2005- 2013. Adam is currently serving Kappa Kappa Psi as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Adam is a life member of both Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. Adam finished his M.S. in Education Leadership with an option in College Student Development in 2008 from Oklahoma State University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Delaware. He currently resides in Wilmington Delaware with husband. Professionally, he is the Interim Dean of Students at the University of Delaware. His main responsibilities include coordinating the student case management process, the creation of student engagement opportunities, overseeing seeing the office of student conduct, and serving as deputy Title IX Coordinator. He is a member of NASPA Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education and other professional associations. A member of the Northeast Greek Leadership Association Board of Directors, and is actively involved in the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors and has had a variety of experiences in fraternity and sorority affairs. Adam is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association. He is also a life member of the WVU Alumni Association and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. His other interests include college sports, musical theater, and his English Bulldog, Duffy.

Jessica McAlarney Lee was initiated into the Eta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania on November 22, 2003. As an active Brother from 2004 - 2008, she served her chapter as Social Director, Vice President of Service, Central Precinct Chair, and Chapter President, where her chapter won the 2007 John P. Ross Governor’s Cup for Most Improved Chapter in the Northeast District. She also served the Northeast District as District President from 2007-2008. While at Lock Haven, Jessica performed as a percussionist with the LHU Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Percussion Ensemble. In May of 2008, Jessica graduated cum laude with Bachelor of Science degrees in Special and Elementary Education.

Following graduation in 2008, Jessica has continued to work with Kappa Kappa Psi on the district and national levels. Jessica served as the Colony advisor to the Nu Delta chapter at McMurry University. She has also presented workshops over leadership, fraternal values, and membership education at district and national conventions for the last 13 years, including facilitating sessions at National Leadership Conference. Jessica has served for 6 years on the National Curriculum Development Committee, as one of the authors of The Road to Wisdom and 4 years on the Ritual Education and Performance Committee, helping to write The Inner Circle Ritual Education program. Jessica has served for 4 years on the National Council, as 2017-2019 National Vice President for Student Affairs, and currently as 2019-2021 National Vice President for Colonization & Membership. Jessica also serves as one of the Keynote Speakers of the fraternity’s Leadership Development Program, The Founders’ Circle. A life member of the Eta Alpha chapter, Jessica is also an honorary member of the Southwest District, National Chapter and the Gamma Nu chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, as well as an honorary member of the Southwest, Northeast, North Central, Southeast, and Midwest Districts and the National Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi.

Jessica graduated in August of 2013 with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since then, she has consistently held leadership positions in her professional life. Currently, Jessica is the Director of Secondary Curriculum & Instruction in Bullard Independent School District. In this role, she oversees curriculum and instruction, Texas state assessment and accountability, teacher professional development and evaluation, and special programs for students in a 4A school district in East Texas. Previous to this position, Jessica has been a principal, assistant principal, instructional coach, and a special education teacher.

Jessica currently resides in Bullard, TX with her husband, Jack, ten year old son, Jackson, seven year old daughter, Emmy, and their dogs, Holly and Muffy. In her spare time, she loves reading, photography, fishing, coloring, swimming, and re-watching episodes of The West Wing, The Office, or Battlestar Galactica.

Mike Napolitano was initiated into the Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi in 2002 at Marist College. He was a member of the Marist College Band program, which encompassed a full symphonic band program, football marching band, and basketball pep band. He also performed with the College Brass Ensemble and Low Brass Choir as a tenor and bass trombone player, as well as a euphonium player. While at Marist, Mike was initiated into the Beta Class of the Kappa Upsilon chapter, and in the semester following initiation was elected Chapter Secretary/Treasurer. In his senior year, he served as Chapter President. In danger of the chapter failing in 2003, Mike was responsible for re-focusing the chapter’s service and recruitment programs to improve its perception within the Marist Band program. Within one year of his term, the chapter tripled in size, substantially increased its service output for the band program, rebuilt the Chapter Constitution and Membership Education Plan. Upon his hiring by Marist College in 2004 as a Human Resources Generalist, Mike was appointed Chapter Sponsor of the Marist chapter. In 2005, he was hired as Operations Manager for the Music Program, and currently serves as Assistant Director of Music for Marist College and Adjunct Lecturer of Music. In 2011, Mike chartered the Kappa Kappa Psi New York Metro Local Alumni Association, and served as its chairperson through May 2018. In 2013, Mike was appointed to the Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association Board of Directors and served as its Membership Director through 2015. In 2015, Mike was appointed National Chairperson for the Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association, wherein he was responsible for creating an organizational structure that would provide stability for the organization to begin the process of becoming self-determined and financially sound. Mike was appointed to the position of Northeast District Governor in 2016, where he continues to serve. Mike received his undergraduate degree in Integrative Studies, with a focuses on Music and Communications, from Marist College in 2006. In 2017, he earned his graduate degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Marist College. He hopes to pursue a doctorate in Organizational Leadership in the near future.Mike is a Life Member of the Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi and the Iota Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, as well as an Honorary Member of the Northeast District for both organizations. He was awarded the national Outstanding Sponsor Award, and was the inaugural recipient of the Scott Stowell Alumni Excellence Award at the 2013 National Convention. Mike has presented at the 2013 and 2015 National Conventions, and in 2017 served on the Nominations Committee and advised the Jurisdiction Committee. He has attended district conventions in the Northeast District (2002-2005, 2011-2013 attendee, 2014-present as a presenter), Southeast District (2015 & 2016, presenter), North Central District (2016 & 2017, presenter and committee advisor), Southwest District (2016, presenter & 2018, attendee), and Midwest District (2019, presenter). Mike is also a member of the Northeast District Alumni Association, the Marist College Alumni Association, and the Association of Concert Bands - serving has host for the 2012 ACB National Convention.

Eric B. Morson is in his 30th year as a Financial Advisor with Equitable Advisors LLC, & an Investment Advisory Representative registered in AZ, CT, MA, NJ, and NY. He holds Series 63, 65, 6, 7, & 24 FINRA Licenses, FINRA Registrations in AZ, CA, CT, MA, NH, NJ, & NY, and is insurance licensed in 15 states. Eric founded Family Tax Advantage, LLC with his father in 2002, and runs the CT office. He was elected to the City of Stamford Board of Representatives (City Council) from the 13th District in 2017 & 2021. He serves as Deputy Majority Leader, Vice-Chair of the Public Safety & Health Committee, as a member of the Fiscal Committee & Steering Committee. Eric serves on the Board of Directors of Stamford Emergency Medical Services (SEMS). He is a past President (2007-10, 13-15) and VP (2011-13) of the Saw Mill Association in Stamford, CT, and was President of the Gazebo on Hope Association (1998-2005). He founded and runs Easy-E Productions D.J. & Karaoke since 1993, and enjoys his passion for vocal performance several nights a week.

Eric is the Chair of the KKPsi Board of Trustees, having served on the Finance Committee, as Board Vice Chair, Secretary, and Alumni Liaison to the AA-BOD. He was honored with the A. Frank Martin Award for Fraternity Service in 2014. Eric previously served as both National Vice-Chair and Finance Chair of the KKPsi Alumni Association Board of Directors, two biennia on the former NAA Board of Directors (1999-2003) and as its National Membership Chair (2001-03). He is a Charter Member of KKPsiAA, TBSAA, and the former NAA. Eric was initiated into the Delta Omicron chapter at the University of Connecticut in April, 1987, and played trumpet in “The Pride of Connecticut,” the UConn Marching Band & Pep Band (1986-1990). As an active member he served as VP of Service the year his chapter won the A. Frank Martin NED Top Chapter Award, and while VP of Membership the chapter size doubled to 63. While President, they hosted the 1990 NED Convention. Eric is a member of the NEDAA (1990-present) and served as Secretary/Treasurer. He has advised Nominations, Programs, Finance, Ways & Means (National & District), Awards, National Convention Site, and Alumni Affairs committees and more over the years. Eric is a Life Member of KKPsi and TBS, an Honorary member of the NED, SED, WD, National Chapter, Kappa Upsilon, and Nu Omicron Chapters of KKPsi and of the NED and Gamma Kappa Chapter of TBS. He has attended all 16 National Conventions since 1991, 34 consecutive NED conventions since 1989, and a total of 75 conventions overall.

Eric graduated from The University of Connecticut in 1990 with a B.A. in Marketing & Economics. He has been continuously active in the UConn Alumni Marching Band (UCAMB), and coordinated the UConn Alumni Pep Band Program from 1997-2013. He served on the UCAMB Reorganization Committee, and is now the Vice-Chair of the UCAMB Board of Directors. Eric volunteered as a Drill Instructor and Brass Tech for the Stamford H.S. Marching Band (1995-2001), when the band grew from 4 members to over 100 and became a competitive program. Many of his students became college bandmembers, band directors, and members of Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma.

Eric and Michele (also a Brother) have been married for 24 years, and live in Stamford, CT with their 2 children, Cameron (20) and Callie (16), who both play the trumpet, just like their dad.

Brother Krcatovich was initiated into the Nu Chapter of KKΨ in 2001 at the University of Michigan. He was a member of the Michigan Marching Band, served his chapter as Corresponding Secretary, and served the North Central District as Vice President for Colonization and Membership and two years as District President. At the end of his second term as District President, Marco was honored with the J. Lee Burke Student Achievement Award, in part for his work in changing the culture of district conventions and events by focusing on promoting education and leadership among all brothers, prioritizing workshops as a central feature of district convention, and making district business more efficient by streamlining committees and time commitments.Since his graduation from the University of Michigan, Marco has served as Colony Advisor for both Mu Epsilon and Nu Theta, installed numerous chapters in the last three biennia, served on the advisory board for the Theta Beta and Eta Gamma (TBΣ) chapters at Boston University during a difficult time for Theta Beta, and became an honorary member of both chapters. From 2011 to 2013, Marco served as one of the first National Vice Chairs of the KKΨ Alumni Association Board of Directors and, from 2013 to 2015, served as the third National Chair. Marco was the first brother to give the gift of Life Membership through the Alumni Giving Program (AGP), and has since gifted a second Life Membership to the chapter Vice President who educated him as a freshman. In 2015, he was elected National Vice President for Programs and focused on simplifying the processing of awards, utilizing social media to increase interest by chapters in the Month of Musicianship, and promoting the AEA Scholarship as a premier program of the Fraternity. At the 2017 National Convention in Orlando, Florida, Marco was elected National Vice President for Colonization and Membership and focused his tenure on the implementation of The Road to Wisdom, the expansion of Kappa Kappa Psi to new campuses, the development of more Fraternity volunteers, and creating consistent and streamlined processes for discipline, colonization, and membership education.Marco graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Science, with a concentration in Meteorology, from the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering in 2005. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, where he earned a Master’s of Science in Education degree in Higher Education Management in 2007. After a few classes while employed at Boston University, Marco is back as a student working to earn his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Administration from Illinois State University, with a goal of defending his dissertation in the spring of 2022.Marco currently serves as the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois, and lives in the heart of Chicago, Illinois, near his partner, Oliver. His senior administration position includes supervising a dedicated research staff and student research assistants, producing federal and state reports which help ensure continued access to federal student aid dollars, and serving and chairing numerous university committees on strategic enrollment planning, student evaluation, effectiveness in university operations, student degree outcomes, Human Resources procedures and operations, and data warehousing management system development and improvement. He was recently appointed to a legislative task force (HB 4781) on College and Career Interest information sharing to address the flow of Illinois high school students to postsecondary degree programs aligned with their interests.

Kirk Randazzo is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina. Professor Randazzo’s research and teaching interests span the fields of American Politics, Comparative Politics, and Methodology – with a particular focus on law and judicial politics. His work focuses on legal constraints to judicial decision making, strategic behavior among judges, and aspects of judicial independence within fledgling democracies. Additionally, his book Defenders of Liberty or Champions of Security? Federal Courts, the Hierarchy of Justice, and U.S. Foreign Policy (from SUNY Press) examines how federal judges balance competing preferences over liberty and security when adjudicating foreign policy cases. He has also published articles in journals such as the Journal of Politics, American Politics Research, the Justice System Journal, Experimental Economics, and in various law reviews.

Professor Randazzo is also the Director of the Judicial Research Initiative (JuRI) at USC (www.cas.sc.edu/poli/juri). He earned his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 2003. Prior to his current appointment at USC, he was a faculty member at the University of Kentucky.

Initiated into the Zeta Chi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi in 1991, Dr. Randazzo served as an officer at the chapter, district, and national levels of the Fraternity. During his term as National President (2001-2003) the Fraternity continued to rely on strategic planning as a primary resource for developing long-term directives. At the 2001 and 2003 National Conventions, several strategic committees worked on creating out-of-the-box solutions to address important topics. Dr. Randazzo led the National Council in reviewing the materials from these committees and incorporating their ideas to further shape an enduring legacy for Kappa Kappa Psi. To this end he organized several strategic planning sessions for the National Council and Board of Trustees, and also organized a session which included the District Governors. During the biennium two new programs were developed by the National Council as a result of strategic planning efforts. First, the Service Showcase was created to recognize chapters’ outstanding service to bands and provide financial awards to those band programs. Second, the Diversity in Music Speaker Series was developed to invite prominent speakers to conventions with the goal of sharing their thoughts on band involvement.

Melvin Miles
Mr. Melvin N. Miles Jr.
Mr. Melvin Miles, Jr. has served on the Morgan State University faculty since 1973. As the Director of University Bands, he is the conductor of the Morgan State University Symphonic Winds, MSU Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and the "Magnificent Marching Machine" Marching Band. As an instructor in the Fine Arts Department, Mr. Miles teaches Instrumental Music Methods and coordinates the wind, percussion and string faculty.



A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Melvin attended Frederick Douglass High School and received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Music Education from Morgan State University. He attended The Catholic University of America for doctoral studies in Music Education. Mr. Miles maintains an energetic performance schedule guest conducting and adjudicating Symphonic and Jazz Honor Bands throughout the nation. He is frequently invited to present workshops and seminars to discuss diverse musical genres and topics related to music education.



Still an active arranger, Mr. Miles has written numerous arrangements performed by the Morgan State University Marching and Pep Bands that can be heard throughout the nation during the football and basketball seasons. He is known for composing and arranging musical scores as the Musical Director for the Encore Dinner Theater. In addition, he arranged and performed several selections while appearing in Barry Levinson's movies "Diner" and "Avalon".



Melvin Miles is a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority and Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity for whom he previously served as National President and Chairman Board of Trustees. In March 2003, he received the “Distinguished Service to Music Medal”, Kappa Kappa Psi’s highest honor.



Furthermore, he holds active membership in the Council of Higher Education in Music (Past President), Music Educators National Conference, Maryland Music Educators Association, College Band Directors Association (State Chairman), Maryland Band Directors Association, HBCU-National Band Directors Consortium, International Association of Jazz Educators, Promethean Kappa Tau, Alpha Psi Omega National Honorary Society and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

BROTHER TAR-SHAE` RA-JUN ODOM is a non-traditional student and a Spring 2018 initiate of the Zeta Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at South Carolina State University. As an active brother of the Zeta Eta Chapter, he currently serves as the Service Chair. Most recently, Tar-Shae` has served the fraternity as the Southeast District President, Zeta Eta Chapter President, and as a member of the National DEIA Task Force. Brother Odom is a 2021 winner of the J. Lee Burke Student Achievement award, the highest award a student of Kappa Kappa Psi can win.
Throughout his time at South Carolina State University, Tar-Shae has played french horn in the South Carolina State Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. He also played mellophone in the marching band, and this year, serves as one of the student conductors for the South Carolina State University Band Program.

On the South Carolina State University campus, Tar-Shae` serves as Chair of the National Interfraternity Music Council (NIMC), and is an advocate for student activities. Additionally, he is a member of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity where he served as Chapter President of the Magnificent Mu Chapter, Southern Regional Director twice, and also National Vice President of External Affairs. Serving has played a major role in Tar-Shae’s life. Since high school, he has served as drum major, class president, school vice president, and tennis captain. Brother Odom never runs from the opportunity to serve others, and believes that the act of serving others is what matters most at the end of the day.

Outside of school and serving the band, is a full-time bar manager at the Orangeburg Country Club. He is a proud member of New Bethel Apostolic Church of Dillon, S.C. where he serves as an assistant choir director, and the keyboardist.

Christopher Lukasik is a Life Member from the Delta Delta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma at the University of Massachusetts. As an Active Sister, Christopher served as Chapter President and three terms on the NED Council, including District President.

Christopher serves on various workgroups for the Sorority, namely the Health and Safety Task Force, the Curriculum Committee, and the Board's Scholarship Committee. Christopher describes himself as a Chapter Operations Nerd and loves talking about how to make chapter operations more efficient for members. He is active in the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association and the Northeast District Alumni Association, and has served as NEDAA Secretary (2017-2020) and NEDAA President (2020-2021). Christopher holds Honorary Membership in Kappa Kappa Psi.

Christopher holds a BA in Legal Studies, a BS in Public Health Sciences, and a Master of Public Health from UMass Amherst. Currently, he is a doctoral student in Organizational Leadership at Northeastern University. Christopher lives in Brattleboro, VT and works as a Victim Advocate for the Office of the Windham County State's Attorney, also in Brattleboro. In his spare time, Christopher binge watches Scandal and The West Wing, collects Funko Pops, and plans out his next tattoo.

Leslie was initiated in the Zeta Nu chapter at the University of Northern Iowa, and served in various chapter leadership roles, such as Ritualist, Secretary, and President. On the district level, Leslie served as Sec/Treas for one year, and Vice President of Membership for one year.Upon graduation with her Music Education and French Horn Performance degrees, Leslie was actively involved in the Midwest District Alumni Association, serving as president for three years. In 2011, was appointed Finance Chair for the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association Executive Committee, a role in which she served until her appointment to the District.In “real life,” Leslie is the 5-12 Band Director and ESL Coordinator for the Southeast Warren Community School District in Liberty Center, Iowa. In the two years in her current position, Leslie has increased high school band participation 250%, started the school’s first jazz ensemble, and serves as her Education Association Parliamentarian. She received her Master’s degree in TESOL studies from Drake University in 2013. She lives in Marshalltown, Iowa, with her husband, Justin, a computer engineer, and their dog, Sophie. Their free time activities include camping, fishing, and home improvement projects that last forever.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Philosophy degree (2012) Allison pursued a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University’s School of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health (2014). Allison received a Santander Universities scholarship to work with the Society of Emergency Medicine of India to begin a long-term research project aiming to improve patient outcomes by strengthening Emergency Medicine residency programs.Allison is one of the Northeast District Counselors for Tau Beta Sigma. She is a Life Member of the Eta Gamma Chapter at Boston University. As an Active and student member, Allison served the organization in various leadership roles including Chapter officer, Northeast District Vice President of Special Projects (2011-2012), and Northeast District President (2012-2013). While at Boston University Allison participated in the Concert, Pep, and Marching Bands as a bass clarinet and alto saxophone player and Drum Major her senior year.As an Alumna, Allison has continued to participate in the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association and Northeast District Alumni Association. She has served as a workshop presenter, Chair of the Counselor’s Award committee (2015), and Chair for the Grace and A. Frank Martin Chapter Leadership Committee (2013). Allison is also an active member of the Boston University Alumni Association and American Public Health Association.Allison currently resides in her hometown of Matawan, NJ where she works in physician and healthcare management. In her free time Allison enjoys exploring new places, seeing live music performances, going to the beach, listening to audiobooks/podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
